Prior to my time at Apple, I spent 4 years helping Keen IO become one of the top developer brands in the PaaS ecosystem. I have an MFA in Design Management from SCAD and over 15 years of experience creating online products and services.
Prior to Keen I was part of Techstars Cloud (2012), a founding member of Volta Collaborative, and design lead for the first mobile deposit app ever (+$75B in deposits to date).

As a product lead at Keen IO I was responsible for guiding the core user experience of our web console, apps, and interfaces. I was also the author and core maintainer of our Data Visualization and JavaScript SDKs. I have an extensive background in both experience design and front-end engineering, and will often join project teams in either capacity.

In 2017 my team launched several new apps and account features that dramatically improved our offering and developer experience.
I worked with Twilio's product leadership and our own web engineering team to produce a full-featured dashboard and reporting service that gives contact center admins real time insight into high-volume workflow data.
Our product was demoed live at SignalConf 2017 and resulted in high-value customers and prospects on day one.
In early 2016 I transitioned to a new role as a product manager to guide the evolution of Keen's web console and its various apps and interfaces. I worked closely with our web engineering teams in both a product and design lead capacity. I produced design briefs, specs, mockups and prototypes, and would join in front-end app development as necessary.
By 2015 I was blending more of my design expertise into my work, kicking off UX research efforts aimed at understanding our rapidly growing user base, and improving the performance and usability of our core apps and interfaces. I also spent more time writing, speaking, traveling, and teaching workshops.
I joined Keen on New Years Day, 2014, and moved to San Francisco shortly after. During this first year I took stewardship over our JavaScript SDK, contributed to a number of high-impact open source efforts, and lead the redesign of our Explorer App, which has since become a critical element of Keen's product offering.
